Herbs that can be grown at home and have respiratory benefits:

1. Tulsi (holy basil)

Considered the "Queen of Herbs," Tulsi can help maintain good respiratory health. Tulsi leaves can be used in choorani (powder) or kashayam (boiled) and can also be made into tea by adding turmeric and pepper.


2. Mexican mint

The leaves of this herb can be chewed or its extract taken with honey to treat sore throats and colds.


3. Thoothuvalai (Solanum trilobatum)
